DANIEL LAWRENCE BROWN
Painting

Daniel Lawrence Brown, an artist specializing in contemporary realism and miniature, exhibits in the Baltimore-Washington area and has work in private and corporate collections across North America and Europe.
Born in Chestertown, Maryland, he was raised in the D.C. suburbs.
Daniel attended the Maryland Institute College of Art. After two years designing stained glass at Kensington Glass Arts, he continued studies overseas at the Crawford College of Art and Design, Cork, Ireland. Settling in Baltimore in 1996, Daniel has worked as a multimedia consultant for several corporate clients. He currently lives and works at his studio on Baltimore's Patterson Park.

“We are the sum of the people we’ve met and known, and in this way our effect lives on long after we are gone. Permanence is impermanence. This common memory, the continuity of human influence, is central to my painting.”
